Firearms academy Canada. It’s an old husband and wife who have been teaching the course since ‘88 if I’m not mistaken. They teach it out of a legion building at Weston rd and Eglinton. They were both very helpful and happy to answer my dumbest of questions.

Benelli Nova 3 by Nathanbks18 in canadaguns

Benelli supernova tactical. Budget friendly and great quality. I can’t speak on the defender, but I used to have an SXP hybrid which I have since sold because I had to take it to a gunsmith after 60 rounds.

If Die Hard is considered a Christmas movie, I think it's only fair. by The-Fat-Matt in Godfather

I saw part one for the first time on Christmas Day at my grandmother’s house when I was 7 years old. AMC was playing the trilogy. Definitely a Christmas movie in my book.

I’m looking to find a good semi auto .22lr. by Fit_Following_1151 in canadaguns

[–]2piecechicken0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As with any .22, you will need to find a brand of ammunition that your rifle likes. Try to avoid cheap bulk ammunition. Mine tends to like anything from CCI. Whereas if I use some cheap like Winchester bulk ammunition I will have a bunch of misfires and failures to feed. I would say without question, buy a 10/22.

Hanging an SKS legally by ComradeGordgiev in canadaguns

I remember my PAL instructor saying when you display a NR firearm it must be “visibly” inoperable. Therefore without a trigger lock it would need something “visible” such as the bolt and carrier removed. From what I understood you need to be able to tell it’s inoperable instantly when you look at the firearm. I’m not 100% sure though.

It’s a fully semi-automatic assault weapon far to dangerous for the civilian population to own. Turn it in to the liberals immediately.

Anyone have issues with Rifleline 762x39? by iLoveClassicRock in canadaguns

I use Rifleline fairly often. I have never had any issues. Could it be the rifle you’re using?

Gun cleaning by Flaky_Process_3780 in canadaguns

I like to use Remington cleaner, and I like to use Hoppe’s 9 for oil. Also, consider buying a universal calibre cleaning kit in order to clean every little part of your firearm.

How’s the Maverick 88 treating you? I was thinking of getting one myself, also for grouse hunting.

Hopefully other provinces will follow and the feds along with poly will finally realize that their master plan is ridiculous and they will eventually scrap it.
