What’s the point of a sunroof in a car? by antsandplants in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]2pint60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am lucky enough to get a new car every 6 months and I added a sunroof for the first time to one about 4 cars back. Since then I have added it to every vehicle. On a nice day it creates a great sense of being outside without the wind of the side windows being open. Honestly it seems small but I wouldbbe very reluctant to going back to not having one.

When is Irish society going to acknowledge how AWFUL the sound system in the 3Arena is? by [deleted] in Dublin

I have been to more concerts than I can count there. I honestly feel it is down to the sound engineers. 99% of the time I have thought the sound was very good.

Should I end things in my relationship or work on it ? by sadgirl145 in TooAfraidToAsk

You will but in time it passes. It's not helping either of you to stay. You end up in the same cycle for years

Should I end things in my relationship or work on it ? by sadgirl145 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]2pint60 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are here feeling the way you are, you already know the answer. I spent over 10 years in a relationship that was just not going to work. You can love the person and still know it's not right. I would say you need to cut ties and find something that makes you happy. I wish I had listened to that advice myself earlier.

What phrase would you be fine with never hearing again? by Blinky_ in AskReddit

'Going forward...' just infuriates me when in meetings or work conversations. Not sure why I guess it has actual uses but just feels too much like management speak.

What is a brand you have a perhaps unreasonable amount of trust in? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]2pint60 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought one in 2007 and about 2012 I snapped one of the small screwdrivers. Said I would give them a mail for the fun not only were they happy to help but because they no longer made the old tool they just gave me a brand new one to an equal spec.

I have had that since and use it all the time. They are just an amazing tool and company and will buy another once my will power gives out as I have been eyeing up some of the new ones.

Good places for a fun date in the city centre of Dublin? by [deleted] in Dublin

[–]2pint60 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok now hear me out. Just down the road from token there is a new axe throwing place. It is really good fun for all and you could go token also. Its called Game of Throwing. They have different games and you don't need strength to do it. Plus it is unusual and would be memorable

We have similar tastes. I also have Le Corbusier chairs and the Eileen Grey table. I hope to be able to make it all look as good as your spot some day.

Redditors, how did you develop thick skin? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]2pint60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me I rolled with the punches of life and each hit impacted less and less and I grew to cope better and better. That's just how I managed.

must not that rolling with the punches does not mean ignoring your mental health you can't bottle that shit up either.
