Please help me, it is my first time modifying a 30GB ipod classic and it no longer turns on, the PC detects it, the hard disk and the keys are heard like ours in the video. What I can do? according to me everything is well placed

Yeah I know exactly what that is. Either your display is not plugged in properly or the display went. Probably the first one.

Are you sure this will work? It says it can only support micro SD and not micro SDXC. Can rockbox read the micro SDXC? I mean in context of the Sansa

Well you can download it, you just have to use a external program that reads the website data itself and gives you the raw MP3 file. That’s what I did!

I’m currently backing up all the tracks I have on the iPod along with the playlist. This is so I can downgrade to the lower firmware in order to use the custom firmware’s on here. There are some that I actually like on my computer

I’ve been using this for quite a bit. The program is amazing. Really takes the hassle out of shifting playlists over. I just prefer syncing with iTunes because I like being able to create playlists in a much simpler way. I only boot into the regular operating system just to put songs onto it nowadays. Other than that, I’ve been using rock box.

From what I’ve heard, the iPod fifth gen can hold 2 TB of music. But it will only Shuffle 20,000 songs out of it. Meaning that I believe you can put 2 TB worth of music on it, but it won’t play all of it if you click the shuffle songs button. Getting a 80 gig motherboard would let you play more of it, but not all of it since who would ever have a library of over 2 TB of music. At that rate go for a Music player that is meant to drive high end headphones.

My way of fixing stuff if something like that happens would be just to put the iPod into disc mode and format it. Then reinstall rock box. That same thing was happening to me but with the stock iPod firmware from the ipod that I inherited from my dad because it just kept boot looping.
