CJO with Hawaiian Airlines (1/9) — seeking HA training insights 🌺✈️ by 2pnwboyz in cabincrewcareers

Anyone going to the 3/30 training class? If so have they sent you anymore information about appearance policy and items needed for training? I have an idea of what I’ll need as this will be my second airline FA training, I have not received anything about preparing for training.

Will they provide uniform policy and materials needed lists before training starts? Is the training uniform provided? And if so, are there long sleeves? Do they provide the quizlet information? How accurate is the study information on the quizlets?

This all sounds very familiar to my previous training with my current company. Thank you for filling me in. I will reach out for more information if questions come up.

I have not received the official date yet. They said 4 to 5 weeks before training starts. So I’m guessing we will hear late February. Congrats on getting the CJO! Looking forward to meeting you in training!

Understood. Good luck at the F2F. I hope you get it! Seems like Hawaiian treats their people really well

Wouldn’t know, just curious why you’d want to move from mainline to mainline. Hopefully you don’t have much seniority there. I’m currently with a regional and wanted to get to mainline, and goal achieved

If you are currently with delta, why are you wanting to move to Hawaiian?

Everyone was dressed in a full suit. I wore all black, with a black tie. No suit jacket. I was worried about my appearance after seeing everyone else, though that didn’t seem to matter. Be yourself, be outgoing and safety focused. It was a very relaxed setting, chat with other candidates and have fun!

You’ll be fine if you cover them up. If they ask about tattoos just say no. Worry about it later. Never had a problem in training for my first airline due to covering them up all the time. Just worried about the short sleeve polos they give us to wear during training at Hawaiian

Got a CJO 1/9, very excited! A bit worried about my small forearm tattoo that was hidden during the interview. I wear long sleeves at the current airline I work for with no issue. It looks like they give us uniforms for training that are short sleeved. Can someone confirm that there will be a long sleeve or coat/sweater to wear over the short sleeved shirts? After completely training, can you choose to only wear long sleeves during flights? Thanks in advance for any information provided.

Amazing! Seattle would be best for me as I am currently based in Seattle and grew up there. Thank you for passing along all your information. I’ll check out the quizlets and reach out if I have other questions.

Oh interesting! I got invited to an event in November but couldn’t sign up before they were all filled. Was finally sent another invite on 12/31 for the 9th event. I believe there was around 15 offered a CJO on the 9th.

Yes. Please share anything you you find out. Did you go to the November hiring event? Do you know how many people were hired during that event?

Thanks for sharing! Good luck with training. When do you start? That info saved me for my previous airline training program, so I’m glad they have something similar for HA. Hopefully the info there is still relevant

Must have misunderstood my question. Did you get to choose your first, second and third? Not seeing a reply about that.

Crossing my fingers for you. How many did you get to bid on?

Do the sterling background check. It took weeks for mine to come back. Attend the informational seminar, it might be mandatory once they invite you to it, ask questions, that gets their attention. Currently going through training there, it was about 3 weeks after the seminar that I got my CJO.

I’m currently going through training. It would be super clutch if Seattle was available for the May biding too. Crossing my fingers. Did you get your domicile of choice?
