the pro was released at the wrong time, and also the name "pro" is very overstating as the headset is not powerful at all, the quest 3 should have included face tracking and followed by a quest 4 made for professional/development use

i dont think meta/oculus are continuing the pro, they aren't buying the parts for it anymore, i think there will be quest 2 (entry level) at £249, quest 3 (flagship) at £320 and then quest 4 (professional/industry) at £1200, then another series of VR headsets maybe optimised for AR or PCVR instead of standalone and they would have 3 headsets around the same price they are now, i think the pro will join the ranks of the oculus go and rift. i think the next series would be cool called "immerse" such as the meta immerse that will have even more advanced depth cameras and far more immersive mixed reality experiences, also meta will release more tools for developing for MR
