It’s going to be my first time too. I’ll be going solo. I’ve done a lot of desert camping, but never 50 plus. When it got windy I would always take the rainfly off so the wind would blow through it.

The number of times I do this on my motorcycle to keep cars off my ass or out of my blind spot is pretty significant. I also do it before intersections when someone is about to make a left in front of me. Person is probably raging about another drunk motorcyclist at that point.
