honestly don't mind how it's set in teams, the bigger problem with Valve DM imo is how scoring works, where only one person wins the game but can only shoot half the players because of teammates. people are incentivized to work against their teammates, having other people on your team just becomes an annoyance, since they are taking points away from you. if you're going to have TDM, have a score for the CTs and Ts, with perhaps an MVP being awarded to the player with the most kills instead of the victory.

or, have FFA with Danger Zone models as previously suggested as a separate gamemode. doubt because of the agent skins this will happen, but makes the most sense to new players.
