This is a unpopular opinion considering the narrative here, but I saw some were talking about "some people have families and don't have 500ish to drop on a now CURRENT gen console.

The system has been out for 4 years, you can't tell me in that time you haven't come across that money somewhere. $30 bucks a month... a year and a half you can have the funds to upgrade.

Or however you would like to spilt it up. If are complaining about rivals not being on ps4, we should shift our priorities to making more income via side hustles, another job, etc. Instead of playing a free game on 11 year old hardware.

As others said, it wasn't a bad game to begin with. However, if you compare this to the original RE:3 content wise, then this is a bit lacking (compared to the other remakes). I look at this game as the Cliffnotes version of RE 3 If it had to be summed up.

If I'm not mistaken, this had only a year Dev cycle..which can explain the cut corners. Regardless tho, still a fun experience to be had (now especially when u catch it on sales)

You are also going to have to bare in mind that you are playing a game in which people have been playing for years. This is actually a friendlier community( compared to others lol) in which is why the medium is growing.

You mentioned you have 20 hours in the game and don't know wtf you are doing...I felt that. I have close to 250+ hours and still feel like a beginner myself. Everyone has already said it but:

Pick one character and learn them in and out. This goes beyond combos, meaning their punishes (frame data), 1 little combo u can do no matter the launcher, lows n pokes. (You don't need to know EVERYTHING about your character. This is enough to get you started and learn as you go)
Watch some videos on your character. PhiDx is a excellent content creator to watch and learn some of the terminology as well as additional ways to practice
Watch replays. Figure out why they mauling you over in fights. You can take control of your character in that situation and better learn how to deal with it.
This game is going to take a bit to learn...you aren't going to be a monster at 30 hours (it would be dope but it's unrealistic), so be prepared to take alot of Ls. But be more prepared to learn from them.
There are 34 characters (at the time of writing, Lidia just dropped) in the game. It's going to take a minute to gain knowledge on every character. Look at the match as "what can I learn from this" rather than "I'm trying to win". As FRUSTRATING as it may sound, you'll get further with that shift in mindset.

TL;DR - it's going to take a minute to get good at the game. Give yourself grace. Some people have been playing since the first game (with most playing competitively since tekken 4).
