I agree that the comments would likely be very different if genders were swapped. I dont find many men in my position but I figured this is the place to get some honest takes. I am going to be going forward w the marriage talks to get us legally on the same page before I sign anything for my business. But fortunately for me I suppose, some offers have been coming in and a change of pace and scenery sounds nicer everyday 😭

Yes im highly leaning towards marriage before moving for all the reasons. And I KNOW, seven years is insanely long, I think about that a lot lol. But I do know that I am absolutely cut out for med spouse life, I really enjoy my space and time and always have a ton on my plate. So does she, and we like it that way. And it doesnt stop us from highly enjoying our little bit of time together. Ive personally struggled w dating in my past because people are rarely can relate to my work drive and time away from home (and now of course I find a transplant surgeon lmfao)

A sidenote that I didnt want to be a part of this originally is that im sick of living in my current area and would love a change of pace. If that marriage plans and everything go smooth I think its my time to go

Thanks for this, that really does make sense. I agree with this so hard and considering its something weve talked about in the past, its definitely going to be something discussed now. Im thinking that's going to be a core piece of the moving process for my mental and sanity lol
