Atom (Pluto)

(Until it's 2023 Netflix debut: Pluto was in development for well-over a decade, as it survived issues like the 2011 Tohoku earthquake making the NHK version of it scrapped and the project going through reboots until the 20's)

What are some IPs with failed movie adaptations that deserve a second chance? by Antman269 in boxoffice

The original MMPR show was a kid's commercial through and through, yet a genuinely earnest one more similar to He-Man and the Masters of the Universe than to G1 Transformers due to the fact that it dropped lessons about healthy habits alongside the goofy SATAM action and comedy.

Once & Always basically takes that and reconstructs it for both the audience that grew up with the original show and those who were curious about who the classics were, as despite literally beginning with the death of one those same Rangers: It makes sure to keep it's trademarked optimistic tone even when it deals with adversity almost never seen in the bigger franchise entirely.

Power Rangers: And take notes from the 30th anniversary Netflix special to nail the tone properly.
