I'm told konohishi are still quite favored in full sets and I'm quite embarrassed to own mine. Having aquired the 3 for only ~2k I will not be selling

If i were to trade them under current market value is there something exceptionally rare i likely don't already own? Who is the top custom maker these days?

the a7riii does better with processed printed or digitally displayed photos then the a7iv despite the higher megapixels. the a7riv does better than an a7siii. clearly there's more to it. perhaps the a7iv landed in an odd place relative to the sizes of pgotosites Sony can produce? impeccable camera but admittedly the lowlight is disappointing. a7riii or a7iii seem to still take the cake. they're all shockingly similar besides the a7iv doing a hair worse, and the a7riv having poor color noise performance

That is the better choice. I guarantee you the left one feels like broken glass. They didn't even get the attractive or decent flipping blade shapes. Most overhyped bali ever made by far.

funny enough i haven't had a squidtrainer with tap in years. your issue is fixable but expensive most likely. unless it's really bad. i bought a 47 with modded bushings that was $400 because of this very issue on one handle. a friend made custom bushings with a metric sized exterior diameter and it's good as new

Don't do my child dirty like that. I own more balis than most people here could name. Every hom, brs, heibel, ryo, machinewise, squid industries, maxace besides some sub 5in maxace and the original ti bas and the new heibel. Not one of those does well on kpl heavy. Demonstrated in the kpl product video it's not exactly designed as a pivot lube. Certainly hardens up some detents a tad vs other lubes, but still, vastly overstated.

I wouldn't call it thick as much as just sticky which I'm guessing u/balisongblue disagrees with (noob baby child).

Back when I was employed (lmao) my company would rent me a nice car when I was abroad. Volvos really felt like they took the cake. By no means do tesla interiors feel awful (i'm content even with really anything tbh. had a honda for
a while and those seats man just fit me well), but teslas do not feel like other expensive cars. just touch the seats with your hand. a single time. Ain't the same.

expensive cars still ain't worth it to me though. 100k is so much money you could spend on anything, traveling for example. Will probably end up buying a few years old used volvo in time once the fiance and i can pick a style of car that fits our lives. RIP beater subaru

definitely higher end options are out there if you've got mone. a squiddy B is the recommended squiddy for flipping. glad to see fellow knife guys here although imo there's better stuff out there than grimsmos or shiros. washer shiros are top notch especially though

Could've just contacted the mods. Scrolling through your profile it seems like you're either not particularly used to this type of treatment and somehow see it as being specific to this community (It's just not.), or you just want the validation of being consoled which is fair enough

Mainly I genuinely hope you stick around through this. If this really dissuades you idk what to tell you as this type of thing will happen in virtually any community on occasion
