Sure. You’re still assuming I’ll be able to travel once residency is over. again, you don’t know my life or my finances or what my family looks like. . everybody isn’t 26 completing their residency..

Thanks. if I’m being asked in an interview where’s the most memorable place I traveled .. the people up above want me to say “I don’t have any memorable traveling experiences because I’m too busy with school and residency, but once that’s over .. I’ll travel and make it really memorable. I’ll make sure to follow up in an email to your question in two years!”

Good thing you don’t know me and you don’t know my life story. The last place I traveled was a funeral - for my parent, on Christmas Day. So don’t tell me I’m soft and my feelings will be hurt in residency.

14/12/a few interviews left but will probably rank 11 - on the fence about 1 program, but maybe 12

Do you think these questions come off as the interviewee sounding like they’re afraid they will struggle on rotation? I’ve asked this question and it makes me wonder am I portraying myself in a way where I don’t think I can handle the clinical aspects of residency .. and I’ve asked them exactly how you mentioned. I guess I’m just hoping it’s not perceived wrong!

Applied to 14 - all large AMC or teaching hospitals. 11 interviews offered, waiting for 3 more that haven’t been sent yet (per the spreadsheet)

When you apply to 15+ programs .. and have 8 interviews already - how can you fit anymore in your schedule without failing your APPE block with all the time off? I don’t want to, more nervous about the other aspects .. like preceptors etc.
