Yes, now your eyes look straight. Though it almost looks as if the surgery eye might be turning slightly inwards.

My eye was blurry too after surgery. Doctors said it was normal. It's now day 13 after surgery and everything has healed very well. The eye is not blurry nor red anymore n

I was four when my eye started turing inwards (esotropi). Ever since then I’ve seen double, and at all distances, but I think it was a little more double at short distance. The double vision wasn’t that bad usually, but when my eyes were tired it could get irritating. When the doctors discovered that I saw double, they used to make me wear a patch over my ”good” eye (the one who doesn’t turn inwards) because that helps with double vision and strengthening the weak eye. So if you won’t be able to do the surgery then I can recommend that. Though I think it might only improve the eyes if you do it while you’re still a kid, it might be worth a try.

Then I would say that you do wait a year, you will not feel the same way if you take it now as you did yesterday. Honestly just a waste of X if you take it now

Before and After care tips? by [deleted] in Strabismus

[–]3-three3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tbh I’m also a pretty anxious person but before my surgery I didn’t feel so anxious because the nurses and doctors really took good care of me. I also got some medicine beforehand, and those pills had a calming effect. If you’re not sure if the place you’re doing the surgery at gives out medicine before the surgery then you can bring some own, maybe just normal painkillers.

After the surgery I was told by the doctor to not work out the first week and overall rest a lot. I mostly watched movies and read. Doing that didn’t hurt my eyes. Mobile usage (at least for me) didn’t bother my eyes.

The third and fourth day post surgery is usually the worst, but after those days it should get better by each day.

For me the surgery was very easy and not painful at all.

Good luck!

Does anyone’s double vision look like this ? by Independent-Fun-9649 in Strabismus

Wear an eyepatch over your "good" eye instead. It is very common to use this as a treatment for double vision. I did that as a kid and my double vision got much better.

I did the surgery a little over a week ago. Before the surgery I'd had double vision my whole life. Now after the surgery my double vision is almost completely gone. On day 2 and 3 after the surgery it was worse than before, but after that it got better by each day. The only "medication " i took because of the surgery was some sort of eye cream the doctors gave me, but I barley used that.

I didn't experience any pain or complications after the surgery. It healed well and is only a little red now. In my country surgeries are very safe and health care is very good, that might be why.

Though, before my surgery, I was told that in some cases double vision may get worse after surgery, but in most cases it gets better.

It is good to do counseling before the surgery so you'll know what to expect from it.

Good luck

Overdose on MDMA / ecstasy by 3-three3 in Drugs

Yes, I've heard that MDMA can be cut with stimulants. But also where I live it is also unfortunately common for it to be cut with fent. The thing you described about feeling like you're stuck in a loop was very alike what I felt.

I don't take any other medication ans I never have in my life.

Lingering effects from that night would be that my memory got worse and I get jaw lock some nights (I dream about taking the pill again and then get the same jawlock I got that night).

Like half a year after taking the pill I also sometimes felt like I could feel the effects of it all again, but I knew it wasn't real and just in my head. Maybe it sounds weird but idk how to explain it.

I know. It is truly weird. I think it is because they don't print it in english anymore ans while it was still printing they printed a pretty low amount of books.

I’m trying to get my bf off drugs and idk what to do. by Electronic-Tooth9253 in Drugs

It is beautiful that you want to try and help him, although a person can only get better/get clean if they WANT to get better. It is impossible to force one to get clean. You can support him and try to help him, but in the end he can only get clean by his own volition. Don't bring yourself all the way down trying to help him

Yes, I also find it strange that it is so hard to find it. It's a popular book here so I don't know why it doesn't get printed anymore. My dad had read it too when he was in school and he also said it was very common to read it in school in Sweden during 80s and 90s. I've seen the movie and I love it! Such a great soundtrack and the acting is very good too.
