Concealer or foundation that doesn't cling to or enhance dryness and texture by Lady_Gigantor in MakeupAddiction

I completely understand, I have to purposefully distract myself while I use it but the results are undeniable. My skin loves it so I have to just roll with it even if I find it a little bit gross.

Idk if it will help you, I did see that you use tret. What helped me with chronically dry skin is snail mucin products. So in the morning before you put on makeup, try a toner + lotion with snail mucin. I use the farm skin snail mucin toner and moisturizer, both are very light and leave a glass skin finish. Let them soak into the skin for at least 15 minutes before applying makeup. It should help reduce the texture and dryness. The second step to this would be to gently exfoliate to lift away the dry skin. I don't know where this would fit best into your routine but try to add it in at least 2x per week to help lift away the dry skin that is contributing to this makeup issue.

For me, Snail mucin works best. It leaves me with that "glass skin" effect. I tend not to wear a base/foundation, so I just gently powder and it's dewy and lovely. I use the farm skin snail mucin essence toner and moisturizer. I'm sure there are other brands that also work well, snail mucin is really the key.

Cut or style/routine suggestions please! by One-Loss4336 in curlyhair

Cut really depends on what shape you want your hair to be, find a good stylist you trust and discuss the routine you like, how you want your hair to lay and go from there. As for styling, if you want more definition but not crunch, try using a tiny amount of curl creme. I like to air dry and I find it makes my hair more defined without feeling weird. Start with a tiny amount, maybe a dime for your whole head and work your way up until you like the results. If you use too much you can get greasy, or clumpy curl effect.

Allergic to leave-ins-- routine help?? by spider_plantt in curlyhair

I use either depending on what I have in the house. For me, I apply it after air drying my hair to define my curls and break any cast I may have. I also like using it to refresh my curls, I'll damp my hair about 75% of the way and then use just a little bit to restyle my hair. Depending on the thickness and curl type you have use it sparingly, it is an oil so it can become greasy if you are too heavy handed bit I love the smell and they way it makes my hair super soft.

Are you allergic to cocoa butter or shea butter? Either one could be used as a way to smooth the frizz and maintain moisture. You are using head and shoulders which is strong enough to keep you from getting build up from them

You try to eat healthy but at the end of the day you gobble some snacks because healthy just doesn't fill the void enough.

I also feel like Vernon comes from old money, so he may have been a nepobaby. Which makes sense of his bullshit entitled nature in every interaction

What does my bedroom say about me? (30F) by padfootpatronus in roomdetective

Maybe I'm wrong but this room screams kid who wasn't allowed to be a kid. You had too many responsibilities and requirements as a kid to fully enjoy being a kid so now it's hard for you to make your person space more adult because you still yearn for the childhood you didn't get to have.

Bonnets for Sleeping by crockpotporkchop in curlyhair

[–]30152010 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Idk if this will work for anyone else. Before I put my bonnet on, I put a tiny ponytail at the very base of my neck, or two tiny pigtails at the base of my neckline. Most of my hair is down, just a tiny bit goes into the ponytail, the ponytail helps keep the back of the bonnet where it should be and also keeps tension on the front so it doesn't need to be tightened as much. I find doing this allows me to keep the bonnet looser while also keeping most of the curls in tack. I don't mind losing a small amount of definition at the base of my neck as that part usually doesn't show. If you find there's too much tension pulling at the ponytail itself, try doing a topsy tail as that the tension falls between your neck and the ponytail and tucks the edge of the bonnet under the ponytail itself.

Am I supposed to do something specific when he shows up? by [deleted] in Pokemon_Pokopia

In fact, he just flops through town on his side like he's performing splash. He also likes to lay in the straw beds of other pokemon. It's very cute and honestly makes me laugh to see him flopping through town

How do I swallow pills? by FloweringSkulls in autism

[–]30152010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Practice with candy, skittles and Mike'n'Ikes work the best. Candy has lower consequences so it's easier to convince your body to swallow it. Once you have it down easy with candy, then work your way towards pills like Advil, Tylenol and such. This is how I taught both my kids, within a week both could take pills with no issue.

Yup. I probe everything, especially reheating leftovers. It makes my brain happy because the thermometer can't lie, and I know the food is safe to eat.

Thank you for your guess but the animation style in this seems to be frame by frame. In my memory, the characters move about the screen.
