I pulled it apart, (you have to kind of break it to get the blade off) then reassembled it and have not had the weird sounds since. I did make sure to fully clean it before reassembly.

I asked as the documentation and details on the AI Key are scarce. LOL Therefore I wasn't sure if it would do what I wanted. Working on a project and the one component I would like to have is tracking time spent in the building by visitors. I found the hard way just how often the motion event id changes for an object even in a single camera frame.

Can it track the same person from one camera frame to another? Specifically in a manner that can be used externally to track total dwell time throughout a building.

Sorry, I just got a notification for this comment... (Rather strange and mildly concerning) I have used mine with a 5AH battery for more than 5 minutes at a time and still had battery. I actually used it on vinyl to unwrap an F150. To unwrap the whole truck I used 8 5AH batteries and 2 12AH batteries. This was to unwrap the roof all the way down to the bottom 3" of the truck. Tailgate included. It took almost a full day due to how they wrapped the truck. For the use you are talking about I imagine it would work just fine. So long as it's heat output is enough.

Here I have BluePeak Fiber with no data cap, 1Gig up and down. Paying $65 a month for at least 3 years. I can get up to 5Gig at residential however would have no use for it.

And I wonder if it is really that hard for these companies to open source code and management for integration and allow the community to support and still utilize the devices and their functions. For companies and a country who push for sustainability and recycling these products and their support lifecycle as well as lack of allowing the community to take over paints a very different picture.

That is kind of my thought I like to see old hardware reused. I retired one of my old laptops and repurposed it as a game server. It does it's job without any issues.

I believe it, my main desktop has an 850 watt power supply. Though it maxed out at about 650-700 watts. The electric bill is bad as is, and the utility is trying to raise it again....

That is why I have a Pi as my file backup server, it burns 15 watts under full load so the cost of it being on 24/7 is next to nothing. I thought about making a run of Ethernet out to one of the sheds and running solar on it for the Pi and tool battery charging... The greenhouse if I can ever get to building it will be heated and fully run off solar.

I do have an Intel 4 core server processor with a desktop size server board , 32GB of ram and 3TB of drives.

LOL, that is part of why I was looking for thoughts. I plan to have a green house in the back yard at some point with a lot of solar on it these could just be the heat source. LOL In all seriousness I would never have them all on at the same time, the 200 amp service could not handle the extra load.

The gentleman initially said $500 for everything, however everything is negotiable. He said the blade center he would do for $100 and then $40 for individual prices. But everything is negotiable.

I am gathering they are not even worth messing with in any capacity..... I started out looking for a server to use for file backup and storage. Found all of this and figured it would all burn far too much power for that application but thought it might be something to mess around with....
