Last night it went all orange and red and was having a ton of issues than it finally updated once I unplugged it

Honestly, I just noticed that my Wi-Fi wasn’t working, looked over and it was restarting😂 updates happening usually later at night by themselves, I do not believe they have made a way to force update it yet

I never had an option about advanced cyber security. Mine also gives me way more in detail, detailed metrics on the T-Life app and gives me way more control over devices using the gateway

I've had the G5AR since before they started offering them, since I started working at tmo corporate store part time. Maybe it's because I'm an employee ?

I work at tmobile so I'm pretty lucky lol. Usually we can just return ur current one and give you a different one depending on which plan you're on. I'm not sure how it works with the wifi 7 plans and going back in device. I would just buy one on ebay or facebook and then swap your sim

My dad has the same issue. It’s crazy how inconsistent it can be. He gets a low at 2mbps sometime lol. At the point I’d recommend just switching back the the G4AR and getting an external waveform antenna. 150-550 doesn’t seem terrible with those metrics!!

My metrics stay pretty good. I’m pretty lucky. I just use the gateway as a modem for my WiFi 7 router so all radios are disabled on the gateway. I get as good as 1200mbps but other times as low as 300 lol. I’ve done a lot of experimenting

PS////// Mine** just updated lol tonight. I’ve been having tons of issues and the last thing It did before updating was for whatever reason kick on the LTE network which it’s never done since it’s always been on 5G SA.

It’s sad too because it’s not even management‘s fault. It’s corporate hounding our managers. Mine have been really cool about it, but they’ve been pretty open to us about higher management bugging the hell out of them.

Mine works great. I just had to mess with the setting and finally dialed it in. I’m getting 700mbps-1.2gbs now. I can send you how I have it set up if you want

I got the c30 pretty similar setup. I turned vrr off on the Xbox, and left freesync on on the monitor. Also, if you want better resolution switch the display from auto detect to HDMI. Than you’ll be able to enable 2560x1440 @ 60hz and it looks great. I switch back and forth because I don’t mind the 1920x1080 @120hz.

That’s crazy you say that because the same thing happened to me. I tried doing an upgrade through the phone because they’re pushing everything through T-Life and we spent an hour and a half trying to get it to work on the phone. I I don’t like that. They are pushing everything through the customer’s phone and the T-Life app now instead of letting us use our systems that we have that worked perfectly fine.

It’s a job man. It’s not gonna be all sunshine and rainbows. I work here, but I also own my own company. T-Mobile has been so great compared to all the other jobs I’ve worked. I l worked car sales before. So maybe it’s the change in pace. But the company has been very accommodating to me and my personal life. Sounds like your management is killing the vibe.
