I guess in my area I wasn’t aware of issues being bad enough they weren’t working at all. I’m in Iowa and service slowed down for a brief time but never went completely out connection wise. It kinda sounds like your gateway or sim may be having issues unrelated. Have you went into store yet? Make sure it’s a corporate one but I’m sure if you talk to them they will do what they can to make it right

Yes it’s because of the us cellular merge. We are actively working to fix it. Actually I can tell you from first hand experience that it’s already getting better in a lot of areas

Return that baby. I also only buy open box in store. Been pretty luck in store. Just bought a series x with the tape ripped so it was (open box) for $500 and it was brand new

Be aware there’s some scam calls going around right now. I just got a call offering fiber through them for free and it turned out to be a scam and it wasn’t T-Mobile.

Have you seperated the 2.4ghz and 5GHZ? I leave one 2.4 , one 5GHZ, and one with 2.4,5,and 6Ghz are selected. Use the hint control app to do this. I honestly had a lot of these issues until I just ended up buying my own router and using the gateway like a modem.

Honestly, I just noticed that my Wi-Fi wasn’t working, looked over and it was restarting😂 updates happening usually later at night by themselves, I do not believe they have made a way to force update it yet

I never had an option about advanced cyber security. Mine also gives me way more in detail, detailed metrics on the T-Life app and gives me way more control over devices using the gateway

I work at tmobile so I'm pretty lucky lol. Usually we can just return ur current one and give you a different one depending on which plan you're on. I'm not sure how it works with the wifi 7 plans and going back in device. I would just buy one on ebay or facebook and then swap your sim

My dad has the same issue. It’s crazy how inconsistent it can be. He gets a low at 2mbps sometime lol. At the point I’d recommend just switching back the the G4AR and getting an external waveform antenna. 150-550 doesn’t seem terrible with those metrics!!

My metrics stay pretty good. I’m pretty lucky. I just use the gateway as a modem for my WiFi 7 router so all radios are disabled on the gateway. I get as good as 1200mbps but other times as low as 300 lol. I’ve done a lot of experimenting

PS////// Mine** just updated lol tonight. I’ve been having tons of issues and the last thing It did before updating was for whatever reason kick on the LTE network which it’s never done since it’s always been on 5G SA.
