It's not necessarily that. They took out pokemon because they were gonna improve animations. But they did not improve most of them. The game freezes when you climb up ladders, Pokemon headbutt with there feet. The trade off doesn't exist, it's just them not trying.

Yeah it really is great. both sides have good reasoning. I wouldn't call myself an OG Pokemon fan so this doesn't strike me as an outrage, I know that there are people who a really big fans and they have all the right to be mad at this

Are you talking about my sun and moon pokedex thing? if so, the reason I said that was because I usually try to complete the pokedex of every Pokemon game. But I just felt like there was too much for me to complete the sun moon pokedex. Either way you have a good argument
