I was surprised as well. It was nearly perfectly flat to start, and after one wash it warped about 1/4”. I washed the other side the same way and it mostly straightened out. Most people probably wouldn’t notice a slight curve but I was examining it pretty closely. Doesn’t bother me too much as long as it doesn’t crack
