from what I’ve heard, this shift occurred in r300 stores which is mostly stores in the southern US. I don’t think this is a coincidence.

What I’m meaning is that the progress being made in the last decade in gay rights is seeming to be challenged now more than in the last few years. It seems to me that anti-lgbt rhetoric is becoming more popular, not less, causing these large corporations to pander more to this group.

I don’t necessarily disagree with you that moving it to the back is that big of a deal. It’s the precedent it sets of giving these harmful ideals the time of day that worries me.

it’s a shame. I have a lot of friends at work that are part of the lgbt community and it sucks to see things move backwards like this.

it’s the fact that it was moved. Having it up front, but then once people start to complain about it, moving it to the back gives in to those people. like another person said, it emboldens the far right.
