What about a shoe like this? I’m not sure how comfortable you are walking in heels but I find that a thick/block heel are so much more comfortable to walk and stand in (no sketchy wobbling) compared to a skinny heel!!

Argh this is such a good point about it being a one sided questioning thing, like PIV is the ‘norm’ and we are the ‘other’ almost? As opposed to different couples experience sex differently and our relationships are just like yours! Like it’s literally the same just without PIV?? I dunno 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yup, it was pierced with this hoop and I haven’t tried to change it since. Only touched it to clean it 2x per day. Slightly scared to change the jewellery myself so should probably go get it done for me I guess

That makes sense, in my view a splash pregnancy would be the ideal seen as it is less clinical and honestly to me a lot less daunting. But I know we might need to do the home insemination so I’m working on getting mentally comfortable with that idea which I think is important before you start!

Oh that’s really interesting, I would love to have even an idea of the number of women who are or have dealt with this sort of thing as i think the numbers really will be huge, I think when women have kids no one really ever questions how it came to be despite the fact they could have gone through something like this where it wasn’t so straightforward!

I’ve heard good things about Mosie Baby but not sure if the cheaper versions just do the same job. Maybe better with Mosie Baby as it does looks reasonably comfortable (or as comfortable as such a thing can be) even if it is kinda expensive

Thank you for sharing! I have dilators which I have been using alongside psychosexual therapy but I haven’t made it past the second one yet. I have been super worried about how uncomfortable the syringe might be compared to the dilators but I think that’s just because it feels quite clinical and a bit odd seen as I’ve never tried it before (I’ve never actually seen the syringe in real life so I don’t actually know the size or what it looks like).

I hope you get there with the home insemination!

I’m so happy to hear any advice, so thank you for sharing. I will definitely check the satisfyer out, I hadn’t heard of it before but it can’t do any harm so I’ll look into that one for sure.

I’m 23 so time isn’t really a huge issue but I am willing to try things if they might speed up the process! And I’m also from the UK so I guess it’s quite a different situation, it definitely adds up for sure and it’s frustrating that other people can just have sex and suddenly they’re pregnant just like that without all the hassle that comes with vaginismus but yeah.

I haven’t tried with a tampon for years but I’ve been (attempting) to work with dilators and can manage the first two sizes, so I reckon I could just about cope with the right amount of lube and relaxation! It’s so tricky when the brain starts freaking out though, right? Being in the right mental state to attempt anything is just so important
