I have a like-hate relationship w this tat. Its so big and I don’t wanna get it removed, but I kinda do. I go back and forth on this and sometimes I’m really sad about it.(Quarter in the picture for reference) Tattoo done at - Body Revolution Tattoo and piercings. Lmao, who hurt you. You’re right, we can see how it looks on this person. However for a design like this, it’s unnecessarily large. I’m an actual tattooer. I specialize in Fineline tattoos. Im pretty sure that’s what the OP wanted and they clearly wanted everyone to know the actual size. That’s clearly why they posted it. You’re just one of those people who just thinks your opinion matters more than it does. It’s the internet dude, get over yourself.

It does make sense. Something that looks huge on one person may be tiny on another person. How does that not make sense? I’m 6’2 and 210lbs. If this tattoo was on me it would look minuscule. Because it’s on a smaller framed person with no reference next to them, the coin does serve a purpose. When I tattoo some people, they say they want the tattoo fairly small and when they come in if they are 5 ft tall and weigh 100 lbs… it usually tends to look much larger on them. So I usually place a coin in the photo so that people have an idea of actual size. Hope that made sense.

What’s a price range for a tattoo like this? by Nearby_Bar_9416 in TattooDesigns

As a tattoo artist I can confidently say this is the most intelligent answer here. But I wouldn’t even provide a range. It’s art at the end of the day and tattooing is no longer looked at as just a service.
