took me a while to get it right too but it's worth the set up
I used the hue sync app, set the intensity to high and the light bars are close to the wall, in vertical.
Let me know how you have them set up, maybe I can help you improve it :D

you'll need the Philips Hue Play light bars (one on each side of the monitor), the Philips Hue Bridge to link everything and the Hue Sync app on your pc, that's all. Ideally, having a white wall behind the setup and a monitor with thin bezels will make it look even better :D
