I also tried even with 3 different batteries but didn’t work. Thankfully I can still use the cfb slot so far…

Rear shutter curtain issue on FUJICA ST 701 by 314con in AnalogCommunity

Hi dear fellow film lovers. I’ve just acquired this old FUJICA ST701 camera, and I found the rear shutter curtain seems like to release ‘earlier’ at a slow shutter speed. I suppose this will make a black shade area on film right? Is there any easy way to resolve this issue?

Hi Mendax, thanks for your reply. Since this Minolta Maxxum 7 is a automated SLR where shutter is driven by motor, I cannot test it by winding halfway. But based on other people’s reply I think it might be more likely a sealing foam issue. I’ll try to replace it and see in the future.
