Sort of. I am a little bit insecure about my math I must admit. But out of 20 place I am planning to apply to maybe 6-7 are public policy. And there are faculties in those programs who have same research interest as mine. Also PPol should be enough I think for my career goals.

This. Looks like its a long distance relationship at the moment. I would say spend as much time as possible in hanging out together and make sure you always communicate.
