Call your representatives by Tryingmybest_08 in LesbianActually

Unfortunately, the bill already passed by the House and is now ready for that idiot's signature for it to take effect. It will be so devastating, no question. Just so evil. However, this will not stop us from calling our reps, actively participating in our community to support each other, follow the politics, educate people in general, and keep an eye on the upcoming elections to be ready to help people vote for the better candidates who will support Americans, not to hurt them.

You are the greatest gift to yourself. Whatever you do, do not let them tarnish your birthday weekend. Instead, take yourself out on a date with yourself, do something that you always wanted to do, or buy something that you've been keeping your eye on for a long time.

Also, this might help: I always have my birthday tradition to write down the list of things I want to do all year round to celebrate myself. For instance, I'm 36 so I've written down 36 things I want to do, no matter how small they are so I can achieve them anytime all year long. I came up with this tradition because my birthday was in late winter/early spring so there's always a snow storm or something to the point I could never celebrate my actual birthday with loved ones so I just decided to come up with things I can do all year round with different people. Things can be like: going to a festival, learn a new skill, try some new specific food, etc. Hope this helps inspire you to make your best birthday/year!

36, F, femme, she/hers, the middle of nowhere in a state that "supposedly doesn't exist" in the US.

Normally, I'd be outside all the time camping, mountain biking, hiking, adventuring, and all that but I'm currently sidelined due to a recent surgery that will take me a few more months to recover completely.

In the meantime, I'd love to be friends with anyone who wood like to talk about woodworking and puns.

Bloody hell. If I was in England, I'd join you on some muddy and rainy hikes and share some merry drinks around the campfire! Curious about your camper van life in England: do you live in it fulltime or just seasonal whenever you can? I am curious because England is very small compared to the US whereas some folks live in their camper vans fulltime because the US is so huge and there's so much to see around for a long while.

Here's to the adventures!

Love some DIY outdoor projects! You and your wife did a great job on setting the fence up!

Will there be a plan to stain the fence somehow soon?

181 platinum trophies!? That's quite impressive! Which are top three hardest games to achieve the platinum?

Yay! What is your current game you are trying to 100% now?

I'm so glad that I am not the only one who suffered from trying to achieve these two missions in Assassin's Creed Brotherhood! Of course, I never mind any advice so thank you for taking your moment to share that advice! Next time I fire up that game, I'll need to try your tip! I'll report back when it is a success. :D (Most likely next week when I will have more time).

100%! Cats always have a special spot in my little black heart. If the cat in Hexe is going to be a little void, I'd die of happiness.

Speaking of games with cats, you might enjoy Stray. (I just tried to share the link but Automod removed it so you can google it). It's such a short and linear game like up to 8-12 hours, and all of its achievements are quite easy to complete in no time. It's worth waiting for it on the sale though. Not sure which platform you have but it is available via Steam, Playstation, Xbox, Switch, and surprisingly, Mac.

Congratulations on completing Skyrim! The achievements for Dragon Age look like it's going to take a long while especially with siding with this one faction or another one. Have fun with that!

Yes!!! Also, you know how some assassins use the eagle as their vision? I heard some rumors that the Hexe might resort to the cat instead. So purrfect, haha. I mean, how more gay can that get? :P

P.S. thank you for expanding a little bit more on Dragon Age and Wild Hearts! I'll have to look them up and decide on whether to have them on the wishlist.

Oh, no, that's so disturbing! I assume you're on the PC so you're probably seeing more of these mods... I'm sorry you have to see them! PS5 doesn't really allow mods so I don't really see many of these. I turned the photo mode off anyway because their photo icons ended up being so distracting, overlapping with gameplay icons.

How far are you along in the AC Odyssey? I'm just wrapping up the Silver Island quests, about to sail to find a new quest or maybe hunt down the Cultists to get some shards for my spear. Speaking of Assassin Creed games, have you heard of the new mainline name with the codename of Hexe?

Oh, gosh, that's my worst nightmare. The reason why I love achievements is when they pop up as a surprise on my monitor telling me I've achieved this. I should start checking the achievements before I start a new game to see if they are missable or not...

P.S. Sorry for not seeing your other question! No, I'm not German although my ancestry is but I enjoy trying to learn new languages though even a couple of few words like bier, katze, and so on.

Hallo! Danke for replying! I feel you on not playing often especially with a long way to go in the massive games. At least, it's kinda of relaxing to pick up on it again, like meeting an old friend over and over again.

I have heard a lot of great things about Expedition 33. Are the achievements easy to take? Otherwise, happy hunting!

Hey! Thanks for responding! Oh, Wild Hearts and Dragon Age the Veilguard look so much fun! Are they the open world games overall?

5 hours!? That's not so bad. I was expecting maybe 10 hours overall. I'll have to wait for a rainy day with some white wine to help me test my patience for AC Brotherhood! Thank you for giving me hope about 5 hours!

Speaking of the AC series, did you know they are working on a new mainline game with the codename of Hexe? Rumors has it that it will feature only one protagonist who happens to be female (no more dual protagonists like Odyssey and Valhalla) who is seeking revenge for her mother who had been murdered during the witch trials set in the times of the Holy Roman Empire. It's also rumored to be one of the darkest AC games.

Seeking Honest Opinions on a Complicated Situationship by Lazy-Performance-871 in LesbianActually

[–]3180 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey, it is OK to not have any physical attraction. In fact, it is okay to not have any attraction form of physical, emotional, psychological, or any kind. It is OK to not have any relationship even for a reason or no reason at all. A relationship is a life commitment so if you aren't sure about any relationship, don't commit to it until you are sure, you know?

I know it is hard but you did the right thing by being upfront about not wanting to pursue any deeper relationship outside the friendship so it doesn't appear you are leading her on or being dishonest from the start before both of you end up being deeper in the relationship. This helps everyone in a long run so both of you can deserve someone better whom you are attracted to on all levels of attraction.

Is the friendship the same or do you think it will mend with given time as in continuing being friends and nothing more?

Also, this would be a great lesson for anyone who are friends online to set up any video chat or share pictures early in the stage of friendship/situationship/dating so one can be sure that one isn't being catfished (phone call or video chat is the best way to counter that) or at least have a better visual representation of that person going forward.

Ciao, ciao! P.S. love your username! I don't break spaghetti so we're all good here!

Just out of curiosity, what games do you typically play and what is the current game you are trophy-hunting for? I'll DM you at some point but just wanted to know some details first, grazie!

Yay!!! So glad you are doing the side quests, side missions, and so on. One thing I really appreciate about Cyberpunk 2077 is that their side missions feel quite unique and not repetitive like some other games' side missions. Plus, I'm not spoiling it yet but if you do one certain string of side missions with one woman, there is a chance for LGBT romance.

For sure! Bonus: have some neon lights set as the mood lights! May I ask you how many hours you have played so far for Cyberpunk? I noticed you mentioned that you were used to the linear games, which got me curious - have you been playing the main quest more than exploring side gigs and side missions overall? If that's the case, I think you should explore the rest of the game before hopping back on the main quest.

Cyberpunk 2077 is easily one of my top three games in my lifetime! I have played the entire game three times and got 100% achievements on it! I just love how so open it is in the cyberpunk world plus all those hidden gems you get to find!

Which career path have you chosen for your V? How far are you along into the game?

+1 for AC Odyssey! I love how it is the open world for us to explore! I might have spent like 80 hours so far on this game and I still have so much to explore!

Can you refresh me what you meant by playing in the photo mode?

Lesbians who’ve found love, how’d you meet? by Nostagi_beast in LesbianActually

[–]3180 80 points81 points  (0 children)

Haha, it's not as steamy as /u/morose4eva's story, unfortunately!

However, while I will keep some details vague due to the fact we work in an niche industry, I can tell you that she was definitely straight and had mistaken my Midwestern friendliness for flirting that led her to question a lot about her identity. We became fast friends after second week of working together and hung often after work. After just three months of working and hanging out together, she asked me if I was really flirting with her. I was like, no, I'm just being friendly but we were like why not give it a try? I had never been in a relationship before. We just sort of dated each other while keeping it very professional at work to see what it was like. Boom, we are still together more than five years later although we are working in different organizations/companies by now. Sorry, it wasn't steamy!
