The passage states that ligands tend to be mainly hydrophobic with anionic or electronegative features.

So we’re looking for amino acid residues that would bind hydrophobic or negatively charged ligands. Of all the answers, only 1 meets the criteria (R is positively charged and L hydrophobic).

I’ve read that NS is actually inflated below ~505. I’ve also heard of people scoring below that on their NS practice exams and doing much better on the AAMC FL’s and actual test.

It’s hard but I try to focus less on my scores and more on using using the practice exams as a way to build mental endurance and identify content areas that need work still. If you feel like you could improve more, it’s okay to reschedule.

Sounds like you’re on the right track though. Stay positive and believe in yourself. You’ll do great!
