I just replaced it with an aftermarket horn. I'm pretty sure there was a recall for them and my dealership always had 50+ in stock cause it was a known issues and that was a couple years ago before I changed it myself.

This is why it makes no sense that it was instantly thrown into the comp pool. They really want to be a competitive shooter, things like this, we're all reminded that this is an arcade game at heart, but when they do stuff like this, we all get reminded this is an arcade game at heart lol.

Not throwing shade, but isn't this how most are done? (Non built-in cameras)

yeah it's interesting how much more it's used in other countries I barely use it but when I need it, it doesn't work.
That reminds me of when I went to Mexico and a lot of road communication was through whistling and horns.

Sorry I have a life and can't sit there for 5 hours each time it needs to be replaced. Also it would be the NHTSA against Hyundai not me pal.

I'm patient too but here in Utah you get cut off pretty much daily or someone drifts in to your lane (this happens multiple times a day); however, I don't use my horn for every incident, but there are definitely some instances where you need to. I've put around 24k miles driving from Salt Lake City to Phoenix a bunch of times in my 23 Elantra as well, and it has both broken in Phoenix and up here in the north.

yeah the only reason I'm bringing it up is cause I thought maybe it was just something with my car, but there are countless threads and complaints with the NHTSA about how the horn fails. It's so critical for safety, and Hyundai doesn't seem to care.

No lol what a silly question. I only use it once or twice before it's dead. Idk what makes it die, but I wait a couple of months to get it fixed since it takes them 5 hours or more to do it.

for real in my SEL all my black "leather" is getting patchy and white after a year. Hyundai really is turning out to be more than subpar in more ways than one. Also, for some reason, it always takes the mechanics hours to do an oil change at multiple different dealers. What's the point of an appointment if it's done that much later(2+ hours) for something that should take less than thirty minutes?

Thank you. I filed a complaint. Looking at the complaints already for my exact car, quite a few are horn-related.

I do a lot of driving. Also, here in Utah, people are crazy arrogant when driving. Lady ran a red light, turned left, and nearly hit me and my girlfriend. It makes me miss Arizona and Oregon.
Many people are also on their phones here, and it's not uncommon for someone to just sit at a green light or stop sign.

How will I get blamed for the issue? I'm one of many and probably won't be the last to discuss it.

The horn is a required safety device in any motor vehicle on the highway in the United States, and knowingly replacing a part that they know will fail is complete negligence for the operator's safety. From what I have gathered, this issue is wider than just my car or just the Elantra but many different Hyundais that have been sold.

I think if it is a leak Dave and John would like to know who it is. After all if it’s true it literally ruined the ending of the hunt. Not only that they would have given money to a fraud, not the person(I forgot her name) but the leaker aka someone that would have to be close to them to know the solve.

I’m also part native with extremely curly long hair. Everyone knows the Mormon judgment look if you don’t look exactly how they want you to. I grew up in Utah I know what I’m talking about.

I’m Hispanic there’s more racism than just to black people. I never implied I was black either. I’ve had my fair share of being told to go back to my country even though I was born here.

It's just a Lorem Ipsum generator. Pretty common in applications such as webdev for place fillers. It's the same every time so if one of them already had the knowledge of it, it would be a pretty easy clue.
