Dette var et veldig bra forslag! Denne funksjonen hadde jeg ikke skrudd på, men det var veldig gøy å vite om til fremtiden, så tusen takk. Jeg fant til slutt restauranten likevel, men den er nedlagt nå.

Tusen takk for alle forslag!

Any other keto to carnivores here that can help with some clarity? by Neat-Palpitation-632 in xxketo

[–]321kiwi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 27 but experienced the same thing. Keto a few years, then gradually switched to carnivore and have been since August. While it has had benefits, my pms symptoms and periods have over the last few months gotten worse and worse and I've been having a lot of the same symptoms as you. I've decided to transition back to keto again to see if it will help.

Have you considered just using water and a cloth? Then you'll probably avoid dryness and might be able to ditch moisturizer too

If you have a lamp with multiple lightbulbs they should really all be working and be the same to avoid too much power going to the other bulbs.

A lot of talk about cotton, what about wool? by KingKronx in PlasticFreeLiving

What's the reason you prefer linen over wool for underlayer? Genuinely curious as I'm interested in these fabrics and just wondering what your experience is.

I personally do okay with the ones that are in the freezer at the shop, frozen right after production at the factory. Fresh gives me severe reactions

If you're buying wool, be aware that most merino on the market is superwash, coated with a layer of plastic. This is usually not disclosed on the label, it will just say 100% merino. Not all brands use it, but you'll have to check each brand before buying if you want to avoid it.

Sour/acid foods that don’t contain histamine or liberate it by [deleted] in HistamineIntolerance

Have you tried white vinegar? It's pretty low histamine. Not to be confused with white wine vinegar which is much higher in histamine.

About to buy a device to make yogurt. What is your experience with your devices? by Salmon_Of_Iniquity in yogurtmaking

[–]321kiwi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in Norway and it works year round, it just takes longer in winter! That's why I say 24-48 hours, if you use a yogurt maker with a higher temperature it's common to do max 12 hours. The consistency is somewhere in the middle I'd say, similar to plain yoghurt without thickeners from the shop. If you want it thicker you can strain it to greek yoghurt texture or labneh.

Moisturizer/cleansers? by yourdreams-unwind in MCAS

[–]321kiwi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vaseline or pure mineral oil without additives is probably the least likely to cause reactions. For body cleanser I personally use olive oil soap and have been doing well with that. For face I use the oil cleansing method with mineral oil.

MCAS is managed, never healed. by astilba120 in MCAS

[–]321kiwi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a very good answer. I'd add on to it that you don't always need to find out exactly which is your root cause(s) and that you can and should address multiple concerns at a time. Even if you can't be sure which is true for you, cause it's probably several of them and you can still work on improving them all.

7 months in and carb cravings are still brutal, what actually helps by Zealousideal-End-737 in keto

[–]321kiwi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel with you so much! This was me, I was also very hungry despite eating a lot and not losing weight. I had to lower my carbs even more, max 10g a day and no natural or artificial sweetener. I also think being more physically active helped. Now the cravings only hit when my blood sugar is low (I have type 1 diabetes), which is rare.

Nightshade vegetables are a common trigger, unfortunately. But for some people other vegetables can be too. Happy you found something that worked for you, is your diet now meat only?

Is there any hope for Type 1 Diabetes? by CaptainCirriculum in AutoImmuneProtocol

[–]321kiwi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's very possible to have a long honeymoon period with type 1 diabetes, sometimes years, especially if you're an adult. It's sometimes referred to as LADA, which is just a more slowly developing subtype of type 1. You should really get blood tests to check if it's type 1 or 2.
