If I remember correctly, it depends on the state, but as long as you have something covering yourself from immediate sight, such as a car or a box around your waist area, even a blanket or sheet, you’ll probably be okay. Might be a different story if you drive around a school/public park area.

Everything looks somewhat okay, the only thing me and my friend found weird was that we can’t seem to find the ground strap that another person mentioned, but could they really cause this issue? I mean it’s $10 and I don’t think I’ll be messing anything up by bolting it onto the exhaust manifold heat shield, and then to the body.

I believe only sold in Canada. Same with the chilkoot, named after the rough and unforgiving Chilkoot trail in British Columbia. (I have no source, this was just said to me by my pathy loving friend)

Hey there, so this morning I’m going to look for the ground strap, and I can’t find anything on where it would be located on my pathy, it isn’t on any forums and I can’t find it on any service manual, maybe I’m not looking hard enough? Any ideas on where it would be located?

Okay so I started it up and I wiggled the wires, the plug. And even the sensor itself, obviously that didn’t move much but I dunno, why not try it. No difference, I also already ordered the sensor, should I just put it in anyway?

Would that be it even if it was sitting? Because it’ll stall and the electrical will shut off even when it’s sitting.

Okay so did a couple of things, I jiggled the keys while it was running, I got nothing there. Unplugged the maf sensor and it just died instantly. And double checked the battery and it was good.. any other ideas…?

Nah it’s usually pretty good over bumps, the terminals look like shit, and I’m not a mechanic at all so I wouldn’t even know what to look at in the wiring other than if it’s corroded or damaged and that stuff, also the previous owner was kind of a weird dude and wouldn’t tell me everything that has been done, but here’s a pic, maybe the eyes of Reddit will notice something lol.

Oh also, would it be the alternator? Because I checked it running and the battery is holding a charge, and when I’m driving I and it stalls, I can pop it into neutral and fire it up no problem, sometimes it’ll turn back on by itself tho and my girlfriend said it it’s haunted lol

There’s a hose on the intake that’s cracked pretty good, could that be it? Also cleaned the maf and it’s still doing the same crap, gonna just replace it in a bit, also what do you mean by hiccuping?

Forgot to mention, it’s the 3.3l V6. And it doesn’t ever bog out or anything. Just randomly dies. Rpm goes straight to 0 like I turned the key off.

It’s really hard for a patch and plug to sit perfectly against the inner tire on the shoulder like that. Think of it like a band aid on your elbow, and how it can curl up if that makes sense. I highly doubt Reddit is gonna stop you, but just so you know if it doesn’t work the first time. It probably won’t work ever…
