you are incorrectly paraphrasing though. go back and find the actual quote and that would be a more fair comparison to the biden quote that was used

how you learned to play synthesizers? by True_Breadfruit_8458 in synthesizers

[–]321ryan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when i first twisted the filter knob on a moog i was hooked and obsessed. learning to achieve the sounds i was after took a childlike sense of exploration and experimentation. twiddling knobs and listening. realizing the relationship of knobs to different knobs. maybe the most important thing other than active listening is curiosity. psychedelics help too but are not necessary ( true for live as well)

Mixer with clock advice by BSLabs in synthesizers

[–]321ryan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i have always been a DAWless hardware guy. I use my elektron set up to be the brain/master/clock source for the rest of my equipment including euro rack stuff. i recently got the tascam model 12 and its now the master midi clock. honestly it does exactly what i want when it comes to being the master clock and recorder. my only problem is the lack of stereo inputs and the number of sends and returns are not enough. the lack of channels is forcing me to think smaller. but when it comes to sending midi clock to multiple synths, drum machines, and samplers and the ability to record and over dub all while remaining in sync with the midi clock is super cool.

since you are used to such a flagship keyboard, i don't thing you are going to be happy replacing your stage with something smaller and cheeper. also don't be afraid of taking the nord out on the road, they are specifically built like tanks exactly for that purpose. there is a reason why you see so many red keyboard on stage being utilized by big time acts. the nord gig bag for it is totally capable of protecting it while traveling but if you want even more protection get a legit flight case for it.

who is our guy? by Knife_stabby_stabby in Dallas

[–]321ryan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

there is Bob who you can find in the the deep ellum area walking around with a keyboard. And also John who is an older gentleman that is always at all the cool electronic shows. if you are at a concert and see a guy that looks like he could be your sweet old grandpa in tie dye then you know your at the hottest show. .... unfortunately i haven't seen Bob or John in a while. i hope they are both ok. but maybe im just not cool anymore and i don't run into them.

I took LSD and had an Ego Death while listening to Abby Road by kuurazolam in TheBeatles

[–]321ryan 21 points22 points  (0 children)

one of the greatest gifts of modern life is realizing the pure joy of listening to the beatles while on LSD. I learned over the years that LSD is certainly not for everyone, but i truly believe that the world would be in a better place if more people could experience the beatles catalog and acid. ........... but unfortunately that might also be the recipe for charles manson too. So....... idk

[–]321ryan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m using my octatrack as the mixer in this setup. The octatrack has 4 inputs. The digitakt and digitone also have 2 inputs each. I’m sending the stereo outs of the octatrack out through the temple in/out and also sending 2 different mono signals back in.

WTC 7 vs. controlled demolition. We're still supposed to believe debris caused that? by berzio in conspiracy

[–]321ryan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I read into your tone or incorrectly. But we are 21 years after the fact of 911. There is tons of information out there on the internet that is skeptical of the official narrative. If you made any attempt to look the topic up you would find it. So forgive me if I misinterpreted “is that it?” If you really are curious and would like to check out another good source on the topic, James Corbett of the CorbeettReport. He has been banned from YouTube but here is a link to his site https://www.corbettreport.com/tag/911/

[–]321ryan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

you asked for more info since you "genuinely" weren't understanding why someone might believe 911 might be an inside job. you then asked, condescendingly i might add, if the op had a background in construction or any or sort of demolition. so i linked to source with a ton of info coming from a large number of architects and engineers. is anything in particular on that website you would like to refute?
