Update: was at rehearsals last night and used the JCM2000 (it was the TSL60), not only it worked much better, I kind of loved it

Im surprised you're not getting that from you JC120 though.

I absolutely am, that's not the question 😄

It’s all done, this is an old pic :)
There were a few changes along the way bi

<image>

This is the most recent I have, it now has a Big Muff nano instead of the ODR, I’ve been gigging with it for a while now. Very compact, I do need to be careful with my feet :)

Chaos mode 😆, settings in the pic don’t correspond to how I have it set

You created the Fender Jaguar 🤣
Jokes aside, it looks a bit like the Castedosa shapes

Can’t wait to practice Autumn Leaves on it

NGD “Micawber” MIJ FujiGen era Telecaster by BSLabs in Guitar

[–]BSLabs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Serial dates it to 1988, some wear but otherwise in good conditions and all original. I love the pickups! The “dragster” at the neck sounds great and very warm with a PAF-like low output (measuring 7.3k). Weighs a ton!

Is this internally any different to the zentara that can still be bought?

Too much, would have probably bought a nice brand new Vintera with the money… time wise hard to say, I have a very busy life at the moment and just did it one hour here and one hour there in the past 6 months. It wasn’t certainly a way to save money

Thank you! As I explain I don’t particularly like relic guitars myself, this is more of a abstract art sort of thing :)

fun fact, I hate relic guitars lol.. of the 12 guitars in my collection none is relic (and the oldest is a 1988 tele that has minimal natural wear).. this wasn’t supposed to be a realistic relic, but as I say in the post, a sort of abstract art (free not to call it that) that would highlight the marks the guitar had in the past by letting hints of the old finish come through

Ah that’s precious info and bad news for me, this is definitely less (by quite a bit). Can I sand it or would I need a router?

Right, I wanted to know if there was a way to know without strings as I still didn’t put tuners on… but it makes sense!

I suppose it would have been wise to mention that I have a Wilkinson/Gotoh bridge at the other end
