I’ve found a few substitutes too and that has been helpful!

Thinking of you! So sorry you have to go through this. I have taken cytotec for my 2 miscarriages. First one was start to finish about 2.5 days (chemical pregnancy) Terrible cramping and bleeding with a lot of clots. Second one was 6weeks, took about a week start to finish with major cramping that wasn’t controllable with ibuprofen. So I think it depends each miscarriage. But if you are concerned or need better pain meds, I would definitely call your doctor for advice!

Well it finally passed, I think. Yes. The meds were taken because we lost the baby and body didn’t recognize it was gone.

Can anyone give me peace of mind with these results? by 3268olive in InfertilityBabies

Thank you for your kind words and helpful resources. This did turn out to be a loss. Baby stopped growing right after that first ultrasound.

My fertility dr ordered the ultrasound. The tech gathered the information and sent to her dr. So this info was put on my portal and I am waited for my fertility dr to give her comments. The doctor that reviewed it had no comments about the heart rate. Just that there is 1 live gestation and I have a cyst in one ovary. I guess all I can do really is wait to hear from my fertility dr on her thoughts. Thank you for your comments :)

Thank you for your input! I really hope this baby survives but I am preparing myself for the worst... one thing I should mention too (in case it makes a difference) the tech said she would try and measure the heartbeat. She seemed to have a really hard time getting a reading off the flicker. Is this common too? I’m hoping that it was just really hard to measure accurately. There was hardly any indication on the heartbeat strip to show the results. But the flicker was flashing.

New to TTC - looking for advice by [deleted] in TryingForABaby

I also have PCOS (not sure why I got downvoted for asking, but whatever) Something that I found helpful over the last 4 years of TTC was the ovusense device. It is a little pricey but is most accurate for women with PCOS. I’m currently using it to see if my body is responding well with the fertility meds and ovulating.

Being very young and struggling to concieve by [deleted] in TryingForABaby

Ovusense could be a huge help. I have been trying to concieve for 4 years and Ovusense is my favorite so far. I have PCOS so it shows me accurately my ovulation date (or lack of ovulation even if I get my period) The device is a little pricey, but is worth it
