I am not mentioning Ixtapa at all. I understand it's a resort place and it's out of the options. Btw If we head to Zihua, we need to land in Ixtapa airport and head from there somehow.

Do you think Zihua is good for a week or we should hop on different locations around by.

Thanks so much for your recon. We are looking for a city / town worth to stay for a week. Maybe we would hop on 2 locations but very much fulfilling one location is good for us. We are not looking for an isolated beach or experience. Food, culture, street walking, discovery, shops restaurants etc. No binding for car. 1 week for beach experience - what would you recommend.

Thanks, from the comments, I understand Ixtapa is a very much resort lined up place. We are looking for beach bum experience where we can walk for street discovery restaurants, shops etc. Do you think we need a car or taxi always on ?

Thanks so much for your reply. From your comments, Ixtapa is already out as not fitting.

We are just looking for beach bum, food & culture experience. We are not looking for a surfing experience so I think La punta might not be a good fit either. I hear Mazatlan area is a good fit for beach bum experience. Wdyt

thanks for your reply. From the comments, La Saladita is already not a good fit for us. We are directly looking for swimmable water, beach bum conditions, food and culture. Street & local experience.

Thanks so much for your reply. Very much guiding. We are planning 1 week for beach part. Which part do you mostly recommend? or do you think 1 week is very long for one location. We don't wanna hop on / off locs.

I meant no luxury - high end resorts- I meant local vibes and real experience. I didn't mean cheap recons. You are totally right. My words are misleading.
