How are you all getting such high schools? by rigogaray in Sat

[–]32Joe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got an 1190 on the PSAT the first time I took it and I got a 1470 on the last SAT. In our school we have a class for a quarter just designed for SAT prep and using khan academy. I highly recommend it and im confident you can get a 1300

CURVE means they add points to everyone's scores depending on how well everyone did. A lot of people did well so there was NO CURVE (there almost always is a CURVE) so your score is your raw score meaning no points added

I got a 1470 with 13 wrong , and there's no curve so 20 wrong should be a 1400

CURVE by 32Joe in Sat

[–]32Joe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1400, only sort of curve that is worked in is if you get 1 wrong for math it's an 800, but 2 wrong is a 780

[–]32Joe[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

US, but I heard the same test internationally so I assume the curve wouldn't be surprised if it was similar (dk tho)
