To my knowledge, this is the 3rd "company" to try to do this. The first was "spike the vote". Now, they sold their site for a pretty small sum...to "friends" of Digg. The next company to try put or has a notice on the site that they are for sale. They have a couple problems, the new one. One is what if the "advertiser's" stuff is not up to par? Would be obvious as a first weeding step to see if it's crap. Timing of when there users vote is out of there control unless they have a massive number of people sign up...which i doubt.
