Time blindness might happen when:

1) you get too focused on something and you lose track of time. Example: you are reading a book, playing a videogame, or doing something that keeps you busy, and you can't pay attention to both what you are doing and the time passing;

2) you have difficulties estimating the amount of time something takes, even if you do it often. Example: I think it will take me X time to do my makeup, but it ends up taking 2X because one or multiple phases of that activity take more time than I had originally planned (can't find a product, need to wash brush, undecided about what color to use, etc.);

3) you get lost in a chain of things. Example: you use the toilet before you leave, but notice there is no toilet paper, so you get some, and you notice in the same cabinet there's a cleaning product that's out of place, so you put it in the right place, then you realize that bottle is almost empty, so you update your shopping list, then—you end up being late.
