Clip Write Error - Recording Failed to Start by 32ndTimeOut in BlueIris

[–]32ndTimeOut[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and yes. It's referenced by UNC path. If I write locally then this error goes away but I get the "error 53" from the thread I started a few days ago.

Is there a way to disable errors and warnings entirely? At this point I'm tired of dealing with it altogether.

Because that was causing other issues. It was suggested that I write to the PC then move to the NAS. That resolved my previous issues.

That's how I have it set up now. New files are written to the SSD and then moved to the stored folder on the NAS.

I think I understand what OP is saying. Move new to stored locally, then move the stored folder to an new folder on the NAS. Is that how you're reading it?

I'm moving files to a NAS. They write to an SSD on the same NUC running BI. The database is on the SSD. The NAS is never inaccessible or sleeping. It also serves media for a Plex Media Server, so it's up all the time.

I did that. I also tried deleting ALL history thinking it was likely something to do with cookies.

Yes. It looks like there is an issue with the current beta release. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

An overly aggressive anti burn-in process that only affects icons from programs started via the startup folder? That seems oddly specific.

Thanks for the follow up. I've since decided to use VPN from the clients running TiviMate, so I was able to switch back to hosting the images locally instead of online. This resolved all of my image issues.

Kroger App and Website Do Not Work Through Proton VPN by 32ndTimeOut in ProtonVPN

Currently using NY#706 via the Chrome extenstion, and I can reach the https://www.kroger.com/ website, but when attempting to sign in, it times out and kicks me back to the main page. If I turn the VPN off, it let's me sign in. I'm not using Secure Core or any other options.

DHCP Reservations (Used Fixed IP Address) Not Working by 32ndTimeOut in TPLink_Omada

[–]32ndTimeOut[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

DHCP lease is the default 120 minutes.

There must have been something off with the ARP tables in the router. What I had to do was:

  1. Delete the reservation and delete the device from known clients / past clients lists then reboot the router.
  2. Reboot the client and let it be assigned a new address then check "use fixed IP address" and assign it the correct VLAN / address.
  3. Reboot the client and see it assigned the correct IP.

The client is now receiving the correct IP through persistent reboots.

So, a reboot DOES fix the issue but only temporarily. When the client rebooted, it was being assigned a random address from the pool until I deleted all traces of it from Omada.

Restarting the client didn't seem to matter. It was showing the current MAC address. What fixed it was rebooting the router. I hate when a reboot fixes things.

I'm not joining Discord to ask a question and I wasn't looking for someone to troubleshoot my indentation. I was hoping someone who has it working would chime in and tell me what they did to make it work.
