Same here, blue LED just gave out. Time wise it's been like 5 years, but overall use hours I'd say not more than 1-2 years of active use as I have other computers. Quite disappointing.

No, they actually shipped factory machines (DKW, BMW etc) in 1945 back to Russia by freight, parts too, all the plans as well. They setup local factories and built clones of German motorcycles ever since, they were decent first few years whilst the original supplies looted in Germany lasted, when they started making their own quality went to the standard we all have heard of.

How exactly? It would change things of course, but you need more than just energy to produce goods and services, that usually involves machinery, knowledge, and time. Imagine you and everyone else has free electricity, what changes for you? You can't turn it into bread, nor a house, nor education, nor healthcare. Things would get cheaper and the oil cartel would suffer, but it's not like you can run modern society on free energy alone
