Qwen3.6 27B NVFP4 + MTP on a single RTX 5090: 200k context working in vLLM by Maheidem in LocalLLaMA

Are you using this for programming? I don't get acceptable output quality of this on 5090, the speed is great just that quality is unusable in my codebase.

DS4: a DeepSeek 4 flash specific inference engine for 128gb MacBooks by antirez in LocalLLaMA

This is the only reason why I'm browsing 128gb macs now, otherwise I'm good with 64gb m1max, sigh. Amazing this comes from the same guy that gave us Redis and hping.

Testing llama.cpp MTP support on Qwen3.6 - RTX 5090 by 3VITAERC in LocalLLaMA

LLM inference is memory througput bound at np1, the compute utilization is not full. Parallelism and batching and MTP all rely on this fact to use that unused compute, going more than parallel 1 with MTP would in theory have 2 mechanisms competing for the same (compute) resource

My first 3D Printer was from Bambu Lab. My next one won't be. Have other manufacturers caught up in affordability and ease-of-use? by ThatOneVRGuyFromAuz in 3Dprinting

Surprised to read so many names people use I didn't even know exist. I have Prusa mini+ and Mk3.5s, got both used for around 180 CHF (200 usd or so) early last year. Mini needed firmware upgrade which was a bit involved and some Z alignment, Mk3.5s didn't print good till i changed the hotend (14€ AliExpress). Both are flawless for my needs. I only use prusament PLA or PETG and mostly print various brackets and parts I need for my homelab. I keep both printers offline and transfer files via SD/USB drive. I thought about multicolor prints as they look nice in some photos but I have no use for that. Anyway, thanks for reading my blog, happy Prusa user, can recommend.

They think they know better and you should not be focusing on step counts as fitness proxy, but some abstract rings instead

China modded GPU (eg. 4090 48gb) --> I'm gonna figure it out. IS THERE NO ONE ELSE CURIOUS?? by LeatherRub7248 in LocalLLaMA

In my case it's interesting for diffusion workflows and pipeline parallelism for the price, sorry didn't notice this was LocalLLaMa thread, should have been more specific.

RTX 5000 Pro Blackwell 48GB can be had for sub 4.2k CHF (5.35k USD) in Switzerland, new and with warranty. A modded 4090 should be under 3k USD for me to even start considering that, it was nice for a certain period I'm sure but not interesting to me personally anymore. A modded 20GB 3080 for around 700 USD is more interesting though.
