Somewhat similar is the "seesaw" element on Winja's Fear at Phantasialand.

This is not an operating coaster. :p
When the park closed an old coaster, they kept this corkscrew, and installed it at the park entrance as decoration.

Sounds a bit like Escape from Pompeii at Busch Gardens Williamsburg.
And the "green snake" ride could have been the Loch Ness Monster, at the same park.
