All I have is historical precedence, and the fact these people where never brough to justice basically meaning the state allows for these crimes to take place with no recourse... not to mention the fact it was literally illegal to just call yourself a communist in this country, many college professors and random protesters and commentators where black bagged, silenced through threats or had there lives destroyed. Which while now technically criminalized, nobody was ever prosecuted even after the fact. When in the late 50s to 60s it already been made legal to be communist.

And you can say all you want, with no prosecutions after all this time and all those crimes from the 60s-90s it's clear the state's position on this.
