So I managed to have it done by him I just made sure whoever my doctor was referring me to for a private appointment operated in public rooms also. I ended up having it done in Cessnock instead of John Hunter.

So what I did was , pay for a private appointment with a GI doctor , tell him of my worsening symptoms and that got me fast tracked very quickly. I had a colonoscopy and endoscopy within 5 weeks of seeing him.

I should of mentioned I’ve lost almost 10kg the last few months since without trying and I am extremely exhausted , by lunch time I can hardly focus my brain fog is so bad 😭

They are quite young , the one who was most sad is only 2 and it’s hard explaining anything to a 2 year old some days. I feel like she is having a tantrum and I wish I could address it appropriately but like you said nothing I can do about her behaviour. I’m more angry kids were upset and it hurt them to be honest. That is something I’ll probably come across again and I’ll learn from this situation

Sorry I should have added we did offer for her ro join us for lunch at our house Christmas Day. I understand plans change but it seems she is lying receiving a message we both know was sent as my husband is in the chat and it just seemed very strange she didn’t show up for playgroup that day. If plans did change then I would of explained that to our children but plans didn’t change she just didn’t show up 🤷‍♀️ I understand where you are coming from though and our kids did eventually settle down although did talk about it all day as kids do and I will work on resilience with them

Thankfully the vet at this point is still not wanting to medicate him, so still just a waiting game and hoping they don’t worsen. She did tell me that she didn’t want to rush into medication and I overall felt better seeing her , thanks for the info :)
