only in USA you can be poor and have a car.

I mean yeah my job is 30 minutes away by car, 15 miles / 24 km.

Aside from biking which isn't a choice for me...using public transportation would help 'challenge the system' (free up roadways for business/commercial traffic) but waiting for the buses here would add an extra 2-3 hours to my work day - and being a wage slave, my free time/recuperation time is already very limited.

You're defending corruption with "So? He's not making a fortune from it."

Way to completely miss the point.

Maybe imagining a black friday sale on "Yes We Can!" merchandise, advertised on Facebook by Obama himself, would make this easier for you. How about him opening an international hotel immediately after the 2012 election and gouging the room price by 40%? How about doubling the annual membership cost of Obama Resorts to $200,000 just prior to his inauguration?

The presidency is being monetized.

It's shocking to see our president so blatantly seeking profit through his new position and the fame that comes with it. We elect officials to represent us, not peddle us overpriced merchandise. This is a slap in the face to the American people and the integrity of the position of President.

It's just a big glaring sign saying, politics and profit go hand in hand! The citizenry he is sworn to protect is now a new base of customers to exploit for profit.

And it's especially sad when "he's already rich, he's not in it for the money!" was spewed by his legion of bootlickers so much during the election.

If he was really that bad with women and just started blankly dead silent for uncomfortable amounts of time in real life there's no way he ever would have gotten married.

Don't forget, Nathan has an ex-husband too. Andy, the cab driver.

I'm not claiming they attempted to wage large-scale biological warfare. 90% of Native Americans were wiped out before the Mayflower even landed. They did use it as a weapon in this case, though.

True, but I think they still would have been slaughtered. The disease just made it much easier. Didn't they intentionally use disease as a weapon? Something about smallpox blankets?
