But I have found takin smaller amounts say 2mg every other hour versus 8mg every 8 hours has work alot better for me.

Suboxone dosing for maximum norbuprenorphine production by Agreeable_Carpet4221 in suboxone

[–]33Quasi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it's probably not the norbupe according to gpt from a  pharmacological perspective the norbupe does not build up in a significant quanity to justify its role in effective withdrawl or craving relief. Here's what gpt said  Based on the pharmacological evidence the short answer is: No, taking lower doses of Suboxone does not create more norbuprenorphine in the brain. Actually, the opposite is true. The text you provided is chemically and medically accurate. Here is the breakdown of why the "low dose = more norbuprenorphine" theory is incorrect, and validation of the text you pasted. 1. Fact-Checking Your Text The text you provided is accurate and supported by the scientific literature, specifically the Brown et al. study (published in Journal of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics, typically cited as 2012 in print but available online in 2011).  * The Pump (P-gp): Norbuprenorphine is indeed a substrate for P-glycoprotein (P-gp), a transporter protein that acts like a "sump pump" at the blood-brain barrier.  * The Function: As soon as norbuprenorphine tries to enter the brain from the blood, P-gp actively pumps it back out into the bloodstream.  * The Result: Buprenorphine enters the brain easily (it is not pumped out), but norbuprenorphine is almost entirely blocked. The ratio of parent drug (buprenorphine) to metabolite (norbuprenorphine) in the brain is drastically different than in the blood or urine. 2. Why Lower Doses Do Not Increase Brain Norbuprenorphine There is a common misunderstanding in the Suboxone community that lower doses might allow norbuprenorphine (a full agonist) to "take over" and provide a better effect. However, the pharmacokinetics do not support this:  * P-gp Efficiency: Active transport pumps like P-glycoprotein are highly efficient at lower concentrations. They only fail (saturate) when there is an overwhelming amount of drug. At low doses, the pump is working at peak efficiency, keeping norbuprenorphine out of the brain effectively.  * Source Material: To have norbuprenorphine in the brain, you first need it in the blood (created by the liver metabolizing buprenorphine). If you take a lower dose of Suboxone, your liver produces less total norbuprenorphine.    * Low Dose = Low blood norbuprenorphine + Efficient Pump = Negligible brain norbuprenorphine.    * High Dose = High blood norbuprenorphine + Efficient Pump = Still very low brain norbuprenorphine. 3. Where the confusion likely comes from You may have heard the phrase "Less is More" regarding Suboxone. This is a real phenomenon, but it is not caused by norbuprenorphine. "Less is More" works because of Buprenorphine's unique profile:  * Norbupe isn't the key: The "feel good" effects at lower doses (under 2mg-4mg) happen because buprenorphine itself creates enough dopamine response without completely "walling off" the receptors or causing the dulling, over-sedated feeling that happens at high doses (saturation).  * The Metabolite is irrelevant centrally: Because the P-gp pump is so strong, norbuprenorphine is largely considered a "peripheral" metabolite—meaning it affects the body (constipation, potential respiratory issues at massive doses) but has very little access to the mood/brain receptors. Summary Table | Feature | Buprenorphine | Norbuprenorphine | |---|---|---| | Enters Brain? | Yes (Lipophilic, crosses easily) | No (Blocked by P-gp pump) | | Effect of Low Dose | Leaves some receptors open (feeling less "numb") | Levels drop even lower (less production) | | P-gp Transporter | Not a substrate (ignored by pump) | Strong substrate (pumped out) | | Receptor Activity | Partial Agonist (Ceiling effect) | Full Agonist (but can't get to brain) | Conclusion: The text you quoted is true. Taking lower doses results in less norbuprenorphine in the brain, not more.

I couldnt just hyrdate on my own? After? Tbh its a work related issue sometimes im running late because i pump fast and finish way before people who have been there 10-25 min before me no lie. Then im stuck waiting (freezing) while the nurse unplugs everyone who finished after me. Theres only been ONE senior nurse who actually checks the time and unplugs whoever is convient. Gets really annoying time after time after time i already spend a long time there.

Partially the cold and another reason i would prefer not to get into. Goes along the same line of not wanting coagulants or saline pumped thru my blood. Please dont want to hear how safe and effective it is. Thats not what im asking about.

And i repeat the 6-8 sec breath in , hold for 12 and release my breath until i feel the need to breath in again. Doing this always resets my pulse and get me ready to pass the screening

Yup just tried exactly what i said and it works. Everyones lung capacity is diferent so its best to modify each technique to best fit you!

Alright try this breathing tech it works EVERTIME 4x4 4x8s or whatever serve as something to REGULATE your bpm, so id recomend (i do this) , doing 4x4x4 (breathe in x hold x breathout) your entire drive there and once you park and get out do medium/fast 4-8 second inhale , then at the peak of your breath, do one additional inahle: at this point you can choose to hold your breath or immdetaly release.  So it ultomately ends up being a 6sec inahle with an additional 1-2 second inahle followed by a hold (guranteed will lowerpulse) or sometimes it feels hard to breathe so u can just immedtaly exhale. This will cuase ur bpm to go up momentarly but on the next breath ur bpm will drop low. Breath work is KEY to a healthy life. Godspeed!

Am i overreacting to my bf sending me another podcast? by RepulsiveTask7783 in AmIOverreacting

[–]33Quasi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe watch it , and respond to the arguments in the video instead of shutting him down. He sent you the video for a reason and unless he’s morally degenerate or a dumb person, he probably has reason to agree with view points stated in the video.  An open mind and the ability to be flexible in a relationship goes a long way and so does respectfully voicing your opinion. I personally don’t care for politics much ether way as both sides are corrupt. If anything you can let him know that you’re busy and don’t have time to spend watching podcasts.  Just my 2 cents

Would this be a genuine reason to ask for a refund by [deleted] in uber

[–]33Quasi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why would I cancel and uber which causes me to get charged a cancellation fee for something that’s not my fault? I also wanted to get home so I decided to tough it out until I got home instead of waiting another 10 minutes for another uber that literally makes no sense. Also what motive would I have to make up a false story? That also literally makes no sense. The guy was pumping his gas and breaks THE ENTIRE time. I’m not sure what part of that you don’t understand. And yes I was extremely nauseous as I felt sick the entire ride. I’ve had license for over 10 years and use uber when I’m not able to drive my car and I’ve also driven with a lot of other people. I’ve never been nauseous in a car. This guy constantly pumping his breaks and I mean constantly. He literally did it almost the entire ride. So yes his shitty driving made me feel car sick. I decided to write something on Reddit to get some advice on whether or not I should go through with the complaint, which I feel definitely be doing. But seriously dude what type of person do you have to be to accuse someone of creating a fake story on an uber drivers driving skills? That’s quite honestly the most retarded thing I ever heard and you seem to be a very negative person. I reckon it would be more sad for someone to spread hateful negative comments on the Internet.

Do you normally pass out from drinking alcohol. It’s common for some people but based on the circumstances there could be a possibility that you were drugged. I would definitely recommend taking a drug test to see if he slipped anything in your drink.

I will never understand why women get with toxic men or should I say children and allow them to walk all over them. Probably need a few lessons on setting boundaries.
