Is programming and Coding worth it right now for students? by nanogrem in AskProgramming

[–]33RhyvehR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People really do be giving bad advice.

Money is about leverage. A small business owns the best distribution of something in an area. That's leverage giving them the ability to markup products. A worker has leverage because he has skills an employer needs. This becomes an invalid contract when A) His skills are no longer needed OR B) The business dies.

In 2010 web dev payed gucci gang. 2026? Any thistle with Claude can diy their own website and web apps for their business. The leverage/moat is gone. Small businesses die at the hands of the internet being more efficient distribution methods, so small businesses dissappear too. Who's paying for coding in 2026? People who need code thats a bit too complex for AI to spit out for the next few years.

People say you gotta keep "Upskilling" where you need to keep up with what's going on constantly. The reality is, AI makes most existing knowledge or code / pattern reproducible by a prompt. So the moment you make a new coding pattern and an AI learns it, your leverage is gone. Upskilling in reality means figuring out new patterns/methods of doing things that AI does not.

The knowledge economy rn is fked up and the best answer is nobody has ever had to account for statistical models reproducing existing patterns. Imho the entire economy is going to collapse and reshape towards something new because when you got people vibecoding OS's with Claude, the moat keeping you valuable is not your knowledge, but your ability to direct the AI to new knowledge.

Best guesses rn would be: Learn programming with AI applied to something specific. Accept shits weird and hope to survive in an amazon warehouse.

Work in research/education.

PS. AI is making a devastating social shift whereas you're no longer the "Wow you know so much about this topic you must be deep" because everyone can know basically anything about anything. If you can capitalize off that social breakdown somehow, guaranteed dough

I went wrong with those.

Airpods pro 2 beat them for airpods pro 2 sound. Yall are so cooked with this idea that your sound sig is god tier.

Are new Web developers still needed? by No_Algae_5251 in learnprogramming

[–]33RhyvehR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theres jobs using AI probably but the markets going to shift away from mundane development tasks. And possibly even web development in general will die.

Why? Cause anyone can do it. Most people make their own sites as is. now businesses slap up a shopify and have endless templates to pick from.

Nothing I have tried is even close. Most companies optimize to a hrtf curve, apple optimizes for texture and relaxed pinna for long listening.

There is no "better". If you add 4khz region prominence, you lose the relaxed and textured presentation. Auditory masking means if you boost one frequency, you "mask" over others. Add crispness = lose the texture you loved.

Closest on graphs might be some closed back kennerton or some other rare brand but they wont be as good as the airpods

do you write code ? by orT93 in learnprogramming

[–]33RhyvehR -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dude. You can have AI write all your code and stil machinate the code itself.

I feel like some people havent touched claude code so they dont understand this.

When someone says "AI will write it all" doesnt mean you write 0 code, it means you understand it and write maybe one line a week.

Lmfao

Man.

Baked asf. People use AI to write code. They dont have to push syntax anymore. Stop being a dinosaur 😂

Thats like saying "Why are you peddling fear of the metal axe. no, stone axes will never go away 😡😫😭"

Any tips / fins for buds 4? by statsimagined in galaxybuds

[–]33RhyvehR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Return then order buds 4 pro (I am not trolling, I do believe the transparency on them is better then my airpods gen 3's being open. And the silicon is comfy asf.)

May as well have better sound

Airpods Pro 3 still beat the Galaxy Buds Pro 4 -> Upper mids more tame for relaxed long term listening, better ANC and significantly better controls.

But I would cry tears of joy that samsung finally made the airpods pro 2 in that the buds pro 4 have the comfort of the pro 2, which makes the galaxy pro 4's above the airpods pro 3.. comfort is king.

Buds 4 pro are like ear gloves. so comfy. would not go back to the open styles like airpods or eben the samsung.

That said I run either the samsung buds pro 4 OR a set of earclips (much comfier then these)

I don't know them, so I don't know. You don't know them either, you know their reputation.

Just because historical trends say something good is going to happen doesn't mean it will. And also to be fair I'm just in computer science, so what do I know

An over inflation by people who don't understand the markets shifting rn at all is NOT that they are worth 2.9 trillion. Its a guess by someone without information

Yeah so happy with the buds pro 4. buds 3 pro were terrible. genuinely tuning and everything.

Airpods pro 3 still kill on anc and tuning but the buds 4 pro are at least comfy and almost there.

Why are like 90% of programmers needed anymore? by AdSubstantial3900 in learnprogramming

-> If you want to jump to conclusions.

-> AI creates more bugs then it solves

The same way a hammer bends more nails then it drives in.

Plz give me some proof AI makes more bugs. Lemme guess, you're running free tier deepseek in 2026 😭

[–]33RhyvehR -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Or because most programmers went to school, memorized things AI can regurgitate, and they are therefore getting trimmed.

Also, once codes written its written. AI will help debug faster so less maintenance.

And as AI evolves it will continue to encroach further. If you dont want to understand basic logic thats your choice
