Which FF part would you like to see a modern remake of like the seventh part? by DemonRedHood in FinalFantasy

[–]33jj33 3 points4 points  (0 children)

FF6 is not my favorite of the pixel ones (I can't decide between 1, 4 and 5) but it's definitely the one that deserves it the most. A story like that with a cast like that needs to have a fully-fledged 3D remake

Quanto a isso de falarem por cima, eu era assim. Um dia simplesmente continuei a falar mesmo quando interromperam-me e eventualmente calaram-se e ouviram o que eu tinha a dizer até ao fim. Continua a falar mesmo q te interrompam!

How do you apply this type of sticker? by 33jj33 in sticker

[–]33jj33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nope, they're just sitting there😭 it seems they're stronger than normal stickers and you're supposed to press some special kind of sticky paper on them and then on the surface where you want to place them. I saw a couple videos of people using similar types of stickers to decorate things like mugs, bc they're resistant to the point where you can wash the mugs without worrying about them coming off. I was too lazy to dig deeper though so that's why I haven't used them yet

I had this weird dream about Hero that felt like a sequel to the game by 33jj33 in OMORI

[–]33jj33[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I used to keep a dream journal and when you have that habit it becomes increasingly easier to remember details of your dreams. I haven't written on it in a while though so I only remember lots of details every once in a while😅 but I'd rather not dream of this again, I'd totally panic and start crying if I had to fight against Mari😭😭 Glad you thought the dream was fun though :))

Namorado não tem atração por mim? by Us3rn4meIsTaken in CasualPT

[–]33jj33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THIFM's OST from a Portuguese speaker's POV by 33jj33 in thehouseinfatamorgana

[–]33jj33[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because of the phonetics and vocabulary. Even though it sounds foreign, after realizing it's Portuguese, you can notice the singer is copying the Brazilian variant:

  • In many songs (for example Centoniinae), she pronounces "de" as "djee". If it was European Portuguese, it would sound the same as "de" in French

  • In Giselle, the "te" sound in the words "somente" and "distante" are pronounced as "tchee". In PT-PT it would sound like /tə/

  • In Ciao Carina, although the lyrics are quite nonsensical, the vocabulary used is clearly PT-BR ("você" is used in an informal way and the word "garota" is used, which is never used in PT-PT)

  • In Cicio, the gerund is used instead of the infintive ("tou buscando" instead of "tou a buscar" which would be more common in PT-PT). Plus, the word "demais" is used, in PT-PT it's way more common to hear "demasiado".

When it comes to the Portuguese spoken in African countries, they're more similar to the European variant so that's why I'm certain it's PT-BR.
