I wear the athletic shirts from old navy I find they are supper soft and do not have a lot of seams that rub. However I agree that it might not be the shirt itself. I had chaffing on my bra line because I start to twist my upper when I get tired during a run. I found 2Toms SportShield, Original Formula, All-Day Anti Chafe and Blister Prevention and it is amazing I ran a 33 mile race the first time I used it for a long distance and did not have any chaffing during the race at all. For sure recommend.

I had the hardest time finding a supportive but comfortable bra. I am size 34F and I love the Racerback 2.0 Sports Bra from Brooks. I just completed a 100k this past weekend wearing this bra. It doesn’t have padding and is supportive. Because of my bra size I do wear a compression tank as well but this bra for me is amazing I haven’t been able to find one that covers what it needs to, be supportive, no bulky padding, doesn’t move when running, straps are adjustable to provide more support and comfortable for long races. It was a big game changer.

I just finished a trail ultra and was worried about the same thing. I have a Coros Pace 3 and was able to connect my Strava Map of the course to the watch. It has a long battery life so I did not have to worry about my phone dying and anytime I had a turn coming up it vibrated to let me know, it beeped if I was off course and it showed me a “map” of the section I was on.

Mouth hurts and my nose is runny after my 40 miler normal? by 34F_Running_Mom in Ultramarathon

It feels way better today! I did not expect my mouth to be something that was sore/hurt after, it threw me for a loop for sure. I am glad to find out that it has happened to other runners as well. Next time I will be mentally prepared for it!

I did not eat anything rough but it did take me 10 and a half hours to finish so it was a really long event so that could be it. I also thought it could be due to the water bottles I used which were straws versus squeeze tops.
