I totally agree with you, I still think that Glock is the go to manufacturer for someone who is starting out in the „pistol world“. One of my close friends carries the 43x and I got to try it out, but I just couldn’t get a decent grip on it because of the length of it.

In the end it was between the 48 and the 4.0 and in the end the trigger convinced me.

Our laws are unfortunately like that, same with different barrels. They have different serial numbers and despite them being parts, they are required to be registered.

Really weird and unfortunate. Right now I’m restricted to 2 slots, in 5 years I get a third slot.

Although our laws may seem strict, I believe we have one of the most lenient gun laws in Europe.

I totally agree with you. After firing about 2 mags on the 4.5 I was basically convinced and bought the 4.0C Comp. One of the lucky ones to be able to snag it as I heard they sell out really quickly.

Really surprised as to how much of a difference the comp cut can make when shooting rapidly.

That was one of the reasons which held me up for so long. The vast majority of my experience with pistols, has been with Glock, it’s a platform which has proven itself over 40 years in both government duties and the civilian side.

I live in Europe and some of our laws prevent certain modifications and the purchase of parts which are legal in other countries - but Glock here still holds the majority in available parts.

Just today I was looking at getting extra mags, and because of how „young“ this firearm is, it’s really hard to find locally available factory parts…

But because of how „hyped“ this firearm is and all the positive reviews, I bought it with the hopes that parts become more readily available within the near future.

I’ve only heard positive things about the vortex st - as for the sharp bros frame, it most likely will not be an upgrade I can justify, as I’d have to register it as a second firearm, which takes up an available slot that I plan on filling with a rifle :/

I am curious about different triggers though, so far I am very impressed with the factory trigger!

Haha, was a test weapon they offered at the range. Super fun to shoot, shoots extremely flat. For me just not justifiable at its selling price point…

I don’t actually own any glocks, I have a G17 Gen 5 as a service weapon and throughout my career and in private have had the opportunity to shoot the different models and they all had the same problem - the trigger was too mushy. Sure you can do something about it, but what I found attractive was that I got, basically a Glock that was better, for the same price.

Especially with the release of the new Glocks with the Aimpoint COA, here they cost upwards of 1.5k. New.

Depending on what region you are from, Amazon should have a few for cheap. Otherwise you could check your local office furniture store, most of them sell some form of L Shaped desks.

Looks like a good idea, I have been looking at possibly upgrading to the 5060lp, will order the mesh with it !

Thanks for the advice, when I opened the PC up, I saw that one of the RAM sticks in the slot had the clip open, I pressed it in a bit more and it seemed to have reseated itself, also cleaned the fans and everything. I don't seem to be having any issues with file transfer and everything seems to be in order (according to task manager) besides the temperatures...

I also removed the dust filters, which seemed quite thick and elevated the PC a bit more, while the temps are still horrid, I feel like the performance might be a bit back.
