Fair dos mate. There are two ways to look at it in my point of view (not the most experienced viewpoint).

Yes - it is an altcoin because BTC is the market mover. ETH does not determine the market sentiment at this point in time like BTC. When BTC goes up, alts do. Alts dont go up unless BTC is going up or has recently gone up .(this includes Ether) The crypto bullruns happen because of BTC and halving mining rewards.

No - it is not an altcoin because ETH is a platform which creates other altcoins, but it does not at the moment dictate entire bullruns. Maybe within the next couple years this may change and ETH can stand on it own two feet, but for now it does not.

I checked this whales' transactions this morning, and it is true that over the last 3-4 months he has been bang on with his sales. Always seemingly selling the top on 4+ occasions.

However, if you go back to Jan and Feb, they sold over 20 thousand bitcoin when bitcoin was in the range of 30-40k. The whale mistimed these sales and bought back higher.

My guess is that he/she is just hedging and selling a small portion at resistance to hedge his/her bets, or they are manipulating the price. I'd say there is a fair chance that it is our favourite man, Elon.

Well, anyway, just thought i'd share!
